SMB Account Executive

Your Role

As a Small/Medium Business (SMB) Account Executive, you’ll be starting your career in sales or tech sales. We’ll supply you with warm leads generated by our in-house marketing department so you can start a pipeline to grow your business. You’ll be explaining the value of our training courses, developing relationships with customers, and leveraging those relationships for referrals to build your book of business.

Our management team provide solid, consistent training and coaching to help you get up to speed on our over 60 course offerings. We’ll set you up for success with a quota system that grows with your knowledge and abilities. Our Junior Sales Representatives have the option to continue in their role or potentially move onto our Business Development Team. As a mid-size business, our growth is high and the paths are varied.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of sales experience
  • Passionate about sales and customer experience
  • Persistent and competitive
  • Self-motivated and driven with great time management skills
  • Quick study with the ability to learn new things, think on your feet, and problem-solve
  • Coachable and open to feedback so we can help you succeed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using MicroSoft Office programs
  • Familiar with a CRM system (Salesforce, Goldmine, ACT, Zendesk, etc.)
  • IT or training experience a plus
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent sales experience)
